Changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted on this page, and the prior versions are kept in an archive for your review. COLLECTION OF INFORMATION
When you sign up for access to Mealstash, we may ask you for personal information, such as your name, email address, password and any other information you choose to provide. This is so we can contact you in the event that your account has problems or to notify you about updates and product sales. If you receive email from us, we will analyze related information such as whether you have accessed our email and performed certain functions with it. When you send email or other communications to us, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services. You may opt-out of email communications using the unsubscribe link provided at the bottom of each email.
We obtain the information you enter into Mealstash, such as recipes, grocery lists, and meal plans, but we do not claim copyright ownership on the content itself.

This is to measure and improve the quality of our service. You can change your browser setting to not to accept cookies; however, doing so may negatively impact your experience using the Mealstash, as some features and services may not work properly.
If you log in via a third party service like Facebook or Google, you authorize us to collect the information described in the third party service’s request for authorization. This information may include your name, your profile picture, email address, age range, gender, city, and state. You should review your privacy settings with these third party services to be sure you are only sharing information you wish to share.
HOW WE STORE AND PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION
Your information is collected, stored and processed in the United States. We limit access to this information to authorized employees who need the information to operate, develop and improve Mealstash.
We use physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction of data while it is under our control. However, even with these safeguards, there are no guarantees that the security system can prevent all potential security breaches.
ACCESSING AND UPDATING PERSONAL INFORMATION
You can help ensure that your information on Mealstash is accurate, complete and up-to-date by logging into your online account or by emailing us at support@mealstash.com. We ask individual users to identify themselves and the information requested to be accessed, corrected or removed before processing such requests, and we may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical, or for which access is not otherwise required. In any case where we provide information access and correction, we perform this service free of charge, except if doing so would require a disproportionate effort.
If you wish to deactivate your account, please email us at support@mealstash.com. Please note, residual copies may take a period of time before they are deleted from our active servers and we may continue to store existing information about you as required by law and for legitimate business purposes.
CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
We do not knowingly collect or solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If you believe that we might have any information from a child under 13, please contact us at support@mealstash.com. We will delete such information as quickly as possible.
CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS; YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS
Under California law, our users that are California residents may request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. This request may be made by each person only once per year. Such requests must be submitted to us via e-mail to support@mealstash.com. We reserve the right not to respond to requests submitted other than to the e-mail address specified above.
